Software Anywhere

Software Anywhere enables you to share expensive software licenses temporarily 24 hours a day from your own computer. All you need is a valid PawPrint (SSO ID) and password. You can save documents and files you produce on your computer or personal file storage space.

Software Anywhere is free. To use Software Anywhere, you must be on campus or connected to the campus network through Virtual Private Networking (VPN).

Available Software

Software Anywhere titles include:
  • Explorations in College Algebra
  • Mathematica 5.1
  • Minitab 14
  • Open Office 2 Suite (includes Base, Calc, Draw, Impress, Math and Writer)
  • SAS 9.1
  • SPSS 15

Connecting to Software Anywhere

To connect to Software Anywhere, you must be on campus or connected to the campus network through Virtual Private Networking (VPN). For specific Windows, Macintosh, or Linux Software Anywhere connection instructions, please refer to the IT KnowledgeBase.
