Student Cellular Phone Service

The current cellular providers offer service plan discounts to University students for personal cellular phones. Mention that you are a student at MU and ask for the best rate when signing up for service.

Questions on devices, service plans, or billing should be directed to the customer service number for your vendor.

AT&T/Cingular

• 10% monthly service discount
• $25 off any new service order (online only)
• Special equipment pricing
• Free standard shipping

New customers should sign up online for AT&T/Cingular discounts. You will need to use your student e-mail address for validation. You also may go to a retail location* or call National Business Ordering at 1-888-444-4410.

Existing AT&T/Cingular customers may enroll in the program by calling 1-800-331-0500. Mention Foundation Number: 99684.

Sprint/Nextel

• 5% monthly service discount
• Free phone with two-year contract

Existing customers should sign up for Sprint/Nextel discounts by calling (888)211-4727. Mention WSCA number 0562550839. Please note that your billing cycle will change to the 15th of the month. For more information, visit Sprint PCS.

U.S. Cellular

The following U.S. Cellular discounts are available to individual students:

• 15% off monthly recurring charges ($49.99 or higher plans only)
• Unlimited campus usage (available for an additional charge)
• 40% off accessories
