The Division of IT (DoIT) provides technology for Mizzou. There's a lot of products and services available to students at MU, and DoIT can assist you in getting set up and ready for school while you are here for Summer Welcome. Check back here before your Summer Welcome visit for more information.
What to Bring to SW
Ready to get started? Be sure to bring these essentials.
- PawPrint (user ID), student number and password
- Admissions letters
- Laptop computer
- Mobile devices (cellphones, tablets, e-readers, etc.)
- U.S. government-issued photo ID
GoMizzou
GoMizzou is MU's mobile app for your Android or iPhone. Use the Summer Welcome module to keep up with your schedule and use the interactive map features to find your way around campus. GoMizzou also provides access to Campus Dining menus, MU events calendar and more. Download the app from the Android Marketplace, Sprint or the iPhone App Store.
Technology Stop and IT Checklist
Come to the Technology Stop downstairs at the University Bookstore to complete the items on your IT Checklist. Be sure to get a punch for each item — each punch earns you a raffle entry. Exchange your punched card for tickets at the Technology Stop. Walk up anytime from 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Set up your Mizzou accounts (MyZou, Email, etc.)
- Get your laptop and mobile devices configured
- Receive your student ID card
- Set up MU eCard account
- Move your email inbox from another UM campus
- Connect to MU-DoIT on Facebook and Twitter
- Purchase computers and software
- Order Early Bird textbooks and eBooks
- Purchase classroom clickers
- Outfit your res hall room
Allow 1-2 hours to complete all the items on your checklist. You can make multiple visits to complete all the items. Student must be present to for technology account, laptop and device setup sessions.
Laptop Setup Sessions
Let's power on that laptop and get it configured for Mizzou's campus. Whether a new computer or one brought from home, simply walk-in for a setup session with our IT specialists. We'll sit down, take you step-by-step, and have you and your computer ready for fall. Walk up anytime from 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
