PawPrints / SSO IDsA PawPrint (also known as an SSO ID) is the ID needed to access most MU technology resources. All MU faculty, staff and students are provided with a PawPrint.
Student PawPrintsStudent PawPrints consist of a student's initials and three random characters to ensure uniqueness.Activating your Student PawPrint (SSO ID)New students must activate PawPrints (SSO IDs) and set up passwords before they can be used. Most new students set up passwords during Summer Welcome or as part of the admission process, but if you haven't done that yet, you can set up your password with the myZou system. You will need the "temporary" password that was mailed to you when you were applying to the University. If you don't have your temporary password, click the Forgot Your Password? link in myZou, then the Recover Password button. Follow the instructions to have your temporary password sent to you. To learn more about your password, including how to change or reset it, please refer to the password information page.Faculty/Staff PawPrints (SSO IDs)Faculty/staff PawPrints (SSO IDs) are usually comprised of last name and first initial. New faculty and staff should contact their departmental IT professional to activate their PawPrint (SSO ID) and have an e-mail account created.
